Music by Duphly and Rameau features this evening, full of characteristic Baroque delicacy, ornamentation and grace. Pavel Kolesnikov’s performances of music by Chopin have earned him huge critical acclaim. His recital this evening features works including Chopin’s expansive Piano Sonata No.3, full of the emotional depth the Romantic era is so well-known for deeply expressive and virtuosic style of 19th century Romanticism.
